Semi-automatic jerrycan filler for ecological cleaning products

In 2018, an automatic filling and capping monoblock was installed for this Belgian customer specialising in ecological cleaning products. Now both 10L and 25L jerrycans needed to be processed.

A further step was necessary in order to be able to work more efficiently, but capacity and deployment was limited. So for this purpose, a new semi-automatic mass flow meter filling unit was developed, and directly linked to a self-regulating buffer roller. This was designed in such a way that the empty jerrycans could easily be positioned under the filling nozzle, which was equipped with mirror filling, and after filling and manually capping, could also be buffered on this 3m long roller conveyor without the need for any lifting by the operator.
